Today, Armored Core Last Raven: Portable was officially released for the PSP in Japan. From Software also released their online service Armored Core Battle TV, the announcement of a new tournament season, and the ability to input promotional codes for the upcoming Armored Core 5.
Though not much in the way of news for our North American crowd, we still can gather some interesting tidbits from it. The promotional codes, provided from pre-ordering Armored Core Last Raven Portable in Japan, are indeed for content in Armored Core 5. From the sound of it, may be AC parts specially designed for the Armored Core Last Raven Portable promotion.
As we mentioned earlier, From Software also announced the beginning of the Armored Core Tournament Season 3. What’s interesting about this news is that From Software has made it a habit to make announcements at their Armored Core tournaments, so we may finally be getting some new information on Armored Core 5 at this tournament.
With a three month gap between Armored Core 3 Portable and Armored Core Last Raven Portable’s Japanese and North American releases, there is also a chance we may see Last Raven Portable as soon as June 2010.
Armored Core Last Raven portable is set to feature new parts and new arena opponents. Stay tuned for more information.
