Armored Core is known for having a great wealth of customization and a huge weapon selection, but with so many variables and the inability of the developer to change the game’s weapon stats via regulations as it has been the case of the latest Armored Core For Answer and Armored Core 4, we end up with a series of weapons that are overpowered, abused and simply broken by any standard.

Okay so all of this is old school AC and the last one I played was Master of Arena back for the PS1 about 8 years ago before I picked up AC:FA. But in order to have some sort of input, I say the most broken weapon out of ACFA has to be the MP-0203 scatter missle. Why? Most missles you have to aim in some way; if you don’t aim them right, your opponent can easily just sidestep them, and, bingo- wasted missle volley. With the 0203s, however, you can fire them from anywhere, as long as your opponent isn’t on the ground. They continuously circle your opponent until they run out of fuel and fall to the ground.
the weapons are not broken it depends how the user uses them. in armored core 4 the online battles i seen plenty of acs taken by the cheapest methods we all know the scatter missles and the laser rifles can take someone elses ac out in matter of seconds. what learn by tuning my ac just increase the mobility if you do that not even one missle can hit you its not a chance it could happen unless youre a noob.
i admit some weapons are broken some are not worth using due most of the crap are heavy slow the ac down x(
no weapons are broke, many think the acacias are broke but anyone whos played with me know they are my most used and favorite weapon to kill with, i barley ever use anyother rifle, anyone can be good with what they put in work with
