Default LR: Lock-on Aptitude vs Box Size

This is an issue I've been wondering about for a while. I know that in top-tier PvP there has always been the talk of box sizes being a big thing, and how players will play to dodge your lock box. However, I notice how when striving for a bigger box, the aptitudes for weapons rises and lowers, and I really never heard anyone mention aptitudes often when LR was still hot, nor over time did it seem to get any mention, and figure it has thus far been treated as a BS stat with no bearing.

However, I'm curious if there is anything conclusive enough about accuracy of weaponry based on the aptitude stat. Usually, the aptitude gets better it seems as the FCS is geared towards the same type of lock as the weapons, however, I'm not certain how it really goes about effecting overall performance of accuracy with weapons.

I know that the max arm weight to arm load and arm aim accuracy has its own effect on weapon accuracies, aside shot velocity of the rounds fired, and their individual projectile sizes, so I'm interested what the overall bearing is on performance between FCS units with higher or lower aptitude to the weapon(s) being used.

If already discussed somewhere, a link will suffice.

Aptitude is just the compatibility stat for two weapons combining lockboxes. The reason it never gets mentioned is because the lockbox size charts already exist, so nobody needs to look at that stat anymore. I want to see the chart is up at ACU but I'm not too sure off the top of my head.

If you don't have that chart, however, then I can provide you with a quickie explanation on the stat. Basically, the higher the aptitude, the superior the FCS will be in handling two weapons at once. That's why stuff like miroku is single weapon specific, and why stuff like f73h is so great for using two weapons that produce a lockbox at a time.

Did he measure it himself? I mean I saw the same chart (exactly the same) before I even met the guy. I also saw the exact same chart for every AC going back to AC2. I mean...even the same font and layout and everything.

I stole the RH layout cause i'm lazy. I did take a 640x480 screenshot of every box in LR and measured in pixels tho.

Guise. Size doesn't matter, it's how you use it.

If you say so, LCC, then I believe you.

Size does matter. Anyone who says otherwise is either trying to spare your feelings or is rocking narrow and shallow.
